Make it fun
If you are anything like me, you get wrapped up in trying to do things just right for the kids. I have realized that parenting is not all about finding the latest and greatest Pinterest pin with the most intricate craft. (Although if you do, more power to you.)
Parenting Tip #2 Focus on fun, not perfection
Today I decided to jazz up lunch by using a cookie cutter for my picky toddler’s toast with peanut butter. Sometimes your own creativity is enough.
Taeylor says:
I love to do this. I have a big jar of cookie cutters and I let them make their own sandwich shapes. It is fun. Near me they sell these little to go condiment containers (link below) i put a little jam with a tiny bit of water so it will squeeze out and let them mix the flavors like raspberry/grape or blueberry and cherry and then I add the peanut butter. It takes a little longer to make lunch but… if i put ranch in one they will usually eat some carrots or cucumber on the side with it.
