It Takes a Village
I understand this concept, but I don’t know exactly how to get my village started here in Omaha, Nebraska. I probably need to have more patience. I know my village doesn’t have to be all local, but I guess I didn’t realize how hard it can be not knowing people. I will keep working on it, but I might need to follow up with more families who have moved to new cities without knowing anyone.

I became a mother younger than most my friends. So I went to meet-up.com and started joining mommy clubs until I found one that I liked and they liked me. I don’t go to any of the outings anymore but I made about 5 really great friends in the process.
